Situated at the tributary of the Pomeroon River, the Amerindian community of Wakapoa has recently embarked on a transformative journey in Basic Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Training. This initiative, spearheaded by the Office of the Prime Minister through the Industry and Innovation Unit, aims to bridge the digital divide and empower the community with essential digital skills.
