Today marks the tenth anniversary of International ‘Girls in ICT Day

Today marks the tenth anniversary of International ‘Girls in ICT Day’. Prime Minister Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Phillips, only yesterday committed to promoting digital literacy and greater inclusion in ICT for all Guyanese.

The PM made these remarks during the virtual launch of “Guyanese Girls Code”, a virtual country wide code training exercise to target girls age 11-15.
