Launching of the Community ICT Training Programme 2021 – Theme: Creating a Better Future Through ICT

– Community ICT training to begin in Kilcoy/Chesney

OFFICE OF THE PRIME MINISTER INDUSTRY & INNOVATION UNIT launched its first Community ICT Training Programme at Kilcoy/Chesney ICT HUB Region 6
These training programmes are intended to be introductory level information technology training and are aimed at persons over the age of 15 years old.
It will be done in the community itself and will cater for approximately 30 persons from each community.
The aim is essential to build IT capacity among youths and adults to increase their level of competence with regards to the productive usage of information technology platforms and equipment. The length of this training programme will last for 1-2 weeks.
