Thirty-six persons from Sandvoort Village, West Canje, are currently participating in the Basic ICT Community Training programme conducted by the Industry and Innovation Unit within the Office of the Prime Minister. The countrywide training provides a platform for people with little ICT knowledge to enhance their leisure, studies or work skills. The initiative is free to Guyanese citizens nationwide as an introductory, intermediate, and advanced training programme.
