Empowering Communities: Waterloo completes ICT Training.
On Friday, February 14th, 2025, twenty-seven persons from Waterloo and surrounding communities of Region Five completed the Industry and Innovation Unit’s Community ICT Training Programme. The one-week programme emphasizes building ICT skillsets that can be used for personal gain and enhance a person’s capability, future career, and problem-solving skills in a digital society.
Speaking to the participants, Internet Governance Officer Sadique A. Raghuraj asked them to continue building on what they learned during the interactive sessions. He underlined that technology is ever-evolving and urged them to apply their knowledge meaningfully.
