Forty youths from the Diamond/Grove community and surrounding areas participated in our ICT Innovation Camp.
Nowadays, we live in the information age where every individual has easy and quick access to a variety of information sources, through touch or click of a button.
The Industry and Innovations Unit is mandated to create an enabling ICT environment and for five days, approximately forty youths from the Diamond/Grove community and surrounding areas participated in our ICT Innovation Camp.
Driven to uplift the younger generation, the training camp catered towards developing their ICT skills in robotics, web development and coding. The vibrant bunch also had the opportunity to interact with leaders from the ICT sector.
Delivering the feature address, Director of Youth, Mr Suresh Singh charged the graduates to continue to develop their skills in ICT. Director Singh stressed the government’s commitment to empower and develop the nation’s human resources.
Remarks were also given by the Director of the Industry and Innovation Unit, Mr Shahrukh Hussain and Facilitator Mr Mahendra Algu.
