The Office of the Prime Minister-Industry and Innovation Unit presents its annual Guyanese Girl Code Programme 2022. Targeting females between the ages of eleven to sixteen, this programme will advance their knowledge of computer science skills through several interactive avenues, including coding/ programming, robotics, Microbit and video games.

The Progamme commenced on August 13th, 2022 and will begin at 10:00 hours every Saturday for a few weeks. The annual programme aims to inspire our younger female population while creating and enforcing ICT skillsets for the overall development of the ICT sector. The participants have bee instilling self-confidence and creativity while developing a supportive sisterhood community and enhancing their problem-solving skills by themselves and their peers.
