In a continuous effort to strengthen communities across Guyana in information technology, the Industry and Innovation Unit within the Office of the Prime Minister this month commenced its Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Community training for 2024 in Laluni, Soesdyke Highway, Region Four.

Recently, twenty-nine persons completed advanced training in several areas, including Computing; Software and Hardware, Web Development, and Internet Computing; these forms of training increase the population’s competency and enhance the overall life skills of individuals.

The Unit will continue with basic, intermediate, and advanced training in 2024 across several regions in Guyana. The Information and Communications Technology sector falls within the realms of the Office of the Prime Minister, which has committed its unwavering commitment towards the nation’s progress within the industry and strives to continue to bridge the digital divide.
