ICT ROADSHOW 2023 Continues in Region Three, Five, and Six
Over 200 students from Leonora Secondary School, WCD, Patentia Secondary, WBD, BushLot Secondary, Rosignol Secondary, Tagore Memorial Secondary, and Skeldon LinePath Secondary were engaged in the first lap of the ICT Road Show 2023.
Grade 10 and 11 students were educated about the ICT industry in Guyana, the importance of the sector in our country, job availability, and cyber security, among many other topics.
Students were engaged by a series of panellists from government, semi-autonomous and private sector agencies.
The Team comprises representatives from the Industry and Innovation Unit within the Office of the Prime Minister, the Telecommunications Agency, the National Data Management Authority, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Bureau of Statistics.
