ICT TRAINING CONTINUES IN REGION FIVE
Thirty-four persons from Ross, West Coast Berbice, are currently being trained under the Office of the Prime Minister-Industry and Innovation Unit’s ICT-based Community Training. Held at the Ross Community Centre, the curriculum is crafted to teach foundation knowledge of computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Internet Connectivity. The ICT training is integral to the government’s vision to achieve ‘tech fluency’ and, overall, for the nation to become ICT-oriented.
Located eighty-one kilometres away from the Capital City, Ross Village borders between Brahan and Yeoville Villages. Training will continue in Region Five in Blairmont, West Coast Berbice, in March 2024.
