Some forty-four children and young adults from the BetterHope/ LBI communities graduated from the Industry and Innovation Unit’s Community ICT Training Programme.

Earlier today, some forty-four children and young adults from the BetterHope/ LBI communities graduated from the Industry and Innovation Unit’s Community ICT Training Programme.
The foundation based training enhanced their knowledge of ICT while boosting their confidence in using the computer and several computer software.
Delivering the feature remarks, the Minister within the Office of the Prime Minister, Honourable Kwame McCoy commended the participants for enhancing their Information Technology skills. He underlined the importance of continuous self-development; which can lead to an improved community and more so, a developed nation.
Also attending today’s programme was the acting Director of Youth, Mr Suresh Singh, Director of the Industry and Innovation Unit, Mr Shahrukh Hussain and Chairman of the BetterHope/LBI Neighbourhood Democratic Council.
The training is being observed under the theme “Creating a brighter future through ICT.”
