ICT Roadshow 2026 Launches at Golden Grove Secondary
What a great way to end the month of February by kick-starting the annual Information Communications and Technology (ICT) Roadshow at Golden Grove Secondary School, East Coast Demerara, on Friday, February 27, 2026. The fourth edition of the roadshow serves as a platform for ICT dialogue, knowledge sharing, and awareness, explores emerging technologies, and inspires our young people to create new tools and advance Guyana’s technology frontier.Yesterday, approximately 40 students from Grades Ten and Eleven participated in our interactive sessions, covering Careers in ICT, cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and the government’s position, plans, and impact on the ICT sector. The interactive sessions were conducted by Dwight Ferguson, Systems Development Officer; Lashonna Rodeny, Outreach Officer; and Jennifer Persaud-Boodhoo, Outreach Officer, of the Industry and Innovation Unit within the Office of the Prime Minister.
The next stop for the road show, the team will be headed to Leguan, Region Three!
